What's in the book?​

This book is all about my Health & Performance Pyramid—the backbone of how I approach physio. Inspired by the Integrated Systems Model pioneered by Diane Lee, it looks at how your vascular, nervous, and musculoskeletal systems work together. This isn’t about quick fixes; it’s about understanding your body as a whole and giving you the tools to sort yourself out for the long term. Learn how to tackle pain, move better, and feel more confident in your own skin.

Real Stories, Real Results​

Throughout How To Be Your Own Physio, you’ll find case studies from my years of practice. These are the stories of real people who’ve trusted me with their bodies and their health – from Caroline, the RAF orienteering champion who regained her title by addressing her knee pain through targeted strength training, to Sonal, who went from using crutches to walking pain-free in one session by correcting her foot control. These studies demonstrate how looking at the whole system can solve problems that stumped other practitioners. I’m eternally grateful to all my patients who’ve been willing guinea pigs (you know who you are!) as I’ve developed and refined my approach. Your bodies have been my textbooks, and your recoveries my inspiration. This book is as much yours as it is mine.
